Stages:
Stage 1: Flüela Pass - Grialetschhütte SAC
Stage 2: Grialetsch hut SAC - Kesch hut SAC
Stage 3: Kesch hut SAC - Es-cha hut SAC
Stage 4: Es-cha hut SAC - Preda or Bergün
Sicherheitshinweis
The Kesch Trek is an alpine mountain hike. The potential dangers in the high mountains must be correctly assessed. The hiking stages require a good level of fitness.
Every October and from the end of April to the end of May, the Swiss army conducts firing exercises in the area around S-chanf. The area between S-chanf and the Dürrboden mountain inn is therefore closed during this time in the Scaletta and Grialetsch area (danger to life).
Ausrüstung
Sturdy hiking boots, weatherproof and warm clothing, rain protection, food for the hiking stages (packed lunches can also be purchased in the huts), sufficient water, sun and head protection, first-aid kit, maps for orientation and possibly hiking poles.
Wegbeschreibung
The Kesch Trek is marked white-red-white as a mountain hike. Between the Flüela and Albula passes, it uses the signposting of the existing hiking trails.
