Beschreibung

The start of the hike is Bivio. Behind the Hotel Grischuna, past the climbing garden, there is a short ascent to Alp Sur Ragn. With a view of the Marmorera reservoir and the Alp Natons opposite with its beautiful pine population, the path leads at altitude to the cow alps La Motta and Starschagns. On these two Alps cattle and cows summer. Please observe the rules of conduct during the encounter.  The mountain hiking trail now leads through larch forest down to the reservoir, where a fireplace invites you to linger. From the dam wall, you can still catch a glimpse of the Marmorera Castle. (Post stop Marmorera reservoir directly on the main road)

Geheimtipp

If you want to walk even further, you can extend the tour to Sur. Turn left at the beginning of the reservoir.

Ausrüstung

Sturdy shoes, rain jacket and practical outdoor clothing are highly recommended.
