Beschreibung

The start of the hike is Bivio. Behind Hotel Grischuna, past the climbing garden, follows a short ascent to Alp Sur Ragn. With a view of the Marmorera reservoir and the opposite Alp Natons with its beautiful Swiss stone pine stand, the path leads at altitude to the cow pastures La Motta and Starschagns. Cattle spend summer on these two alps. Please observe the behavioral rules when encountering them. Through larch forest, the mountain hiking trail now leads down to the reservoir, where a fire pit invites you to linger. From the dam, you can still catch a glimpse of Marmorera Castle. (Marmorera reservoir bus stop directly on the main road)

Geheimtipp

Those who want to walk further can extend the route to Sur. Junction left at the beginning of the reservoir.

Ausrüstung

Sturdy footwear, rain jacket and functional outdoor clothing are highly recommended.
