Beschreibung

Start at the Obersee and follow the Maranerstrasse to the bend in the road above Haus Prätschwald. Then follow the forest path for about 40 minutes to the forest road towards Ochsenalp. After a 10-minute walk, the path to the Langwieser Aussicht branches off to the right. From there you can see the idyllic Walser village of Langwies and its famous viaduct as well as the upper Schanfigg. Then it takes about 1.5 hours along the forest road to Ochsenalp. You can indulge yourself with various homemade specialties. According to the motto "patschifig"! "Patschifig" stands for "cozy" in Graubünden. Strengthened, we continue over the Roter Tritt past the Prätschalp to the Maran. From Hof Maran you start the final stage via the Eichhörnliweg back to the Obersee.

Geheimtipp

Treat yourself to a short stop at the Maran dairy. From the sales room you can watch the cheesemakers at their daily work.

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

The Rhaetian Railway runs hourly from Chur to Arosa. Upon arrival at Arosa train station, you will be directly at the starting point of the hike.

From Chur via the winding Arosa road to the end of the valley to Arosa.
