The former municipal clerk, Emil Hänni, tells stories about the village, the water and the well, the sawmill and the bakehouse.

The water supply of a mountain village is different from that of a city. And yet there is a special thing in common between Flerden and the city of Chur: they are the first two municipalities in Graubünden with a modern spring catchment and pipe system.

Why did the fountain on Plattasweg almost fall victim to the great "Mahler"? Why does the smell of fresh bread spread through the streets on Fridays? Why were the graves in Flerden hardly watered in the past, but often watered today? Emil Hänni knows the answer to all these questions and more.

The guided tours appeal to everyone, locals, lowlanders, the young and the young at heart.
