Herb hike

Route: Campsite Carrera - Erlawisli - Foppatälaloch - Roggarüti Hut - Versam Isla Bord

Toxicity is a relative term. Often it is all, sometimes only certain parts of the plant that contain toxins. Depending on the degree of ripeness, the poison content can fluctuate, and the preparation also plays a role. On the leisurely hike from the Carrera campsite to the Roggarüti hut, you will learn which plants you can only enjoy in small doses, which ones you should process first and from
which you should definitely keep your hands off. At the Roggarütti hut we take a break and enjoy a - guaranteed non-toxic - herbal snack.
Afterwards we tackle the last kilometer to the viewpoint Isla Bord, where we can take a look at the imposing Rhine Gorge. From there, the post bus takes us back to the Carrera campsite.

Equipment: Good shoes, clothing adapted to the weather and season, food, rain or sun protection, personal medication
Food: from the backpack (bring your own)
Requirements: Fitness for 5 km of hiking; the walking time is about 1.5 hours, but we are on the road longer because we take our time for the herbs.
Cost: per person 72.00 CHF incl. instruction by an expert, information material and herbal snack. excl. post bus journey.
