In 1977, in a small village in Ticino: 16-year-old Mario is somewhere between youth and adulthood. At school as well as in life, many things seem to slip away from him. He also clashes with his father again and again. When he is sent to the mountains for the summer to help with farming, he discovers a harsh but free world where nature sets the rhythm. Up there, everything seems possible that changes Mario's view of the world and of himself.
