Das kleine Neujahrskonzert - Flimsfestival 2026

Since 2020, our "Small New Year's Concert" has traditionally taken place on 1 January in the afternoon at the Schweizerhof Flims Waldhaus. In contrast to the big role model in Vienna, we strike a quieter tone and show small but fine pearls of art, music and dance. Today it is based on a special idea – in the style of the Flims Festival: We tell the story of the Austrian Emperor Joseph II. After the loss of his first wife, his beloved Isabella and the death of his unloved second wife, he invites a wide variety of people to distract him through performances, music, stories or good ideas and to take his mind off things - to finally smile again. And the duo M & M, our two music acrobatics specialists Max and Mathias, will also take up the challenge. Sporty-committed, musical-humorous and yet sensitive, they prepare for their audience with the emperor and present a poetic-entertaining firework of music and artistry. But will they also be able to convince the emperor? An enjoyable start to the new year with many good pretenses, main clauses and subordinate clauses!
