Maschgenkamm - SAC Spitzmeilen hut - Tannenbodenalp

From Flumserberg-Tannenbodenalp, the gondola lift takes us directly to the Maschgenkamm. From the Maschgenkamm we hike on a flat path to the Zigerfurgglen and follow the hiking trail via Calans to the Spitzmeilen hut. If you feel like it and have the time, you can make a detour from the Spitzmeilenhütte to the nearby Madseeli. From the Spitzmeilenhütte we follow the hiking trail downhill to Alp Fursch, then continue on a good dirt road until the signpost points us in the direction of Panüöl. From Panüöl take the path towards Prodalp. On the way we walk past a beautiful fireplace, which invites you to barbecue. Once in the Prodalp, we take the path towards Alp Tannenboden. After a short, steep descent past the high moor of Madils, we reach Alp Tannenboden on the road. On the way we take a look at the modern cheese dairy. Under the alp, a flat path leads across the pasture back to the starting point Tannenboden.

The tour can also be done as a two-day pleasure tour - including overnight stay in the SAC Spitzmeilen hut.
