Beschreibung

Behind the Arosa train station near the Obersee, take the gondola of the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car and get off at the middle station. There you will move into the all-terrain JST Multidrive wheelchair. An employee of the Arosa Bergbahnen will instruct you.

From the middle station, turn right and after a few meters you will reach the Arosa Bear Sanctuary. After watching the bears, you go back to the Arlenwald trail. You walk through the middle of the hiking and skiing area, which in summer presents itself as green meadows with grazing cows. Arriving at the Maran dairy, there is delicious cheese with milk from the four Alps in the region. A little further down is the Golf & Sport Hotel Hof Maran. Opposite is the start of the Squirrel Trail, where there is a playground, a fireplace and lots of animals that eat out of your hand. The trail ends at the Obersee, right next to the valley station of the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car.
