Mountain station Eggli circular route

The cable car takes you in 12 minutes to 1700 m above sea level right into the snow hiking paradise. From the mountain station, the snowshoe route leads towards Höreli (1788 m above sea level). From there, you have a unique view over Vorderprättigau and even to Chur, Lenzerheide, and Surselva. It then continues up to the "Brunnen" at 1920 m above sea level, the highest point of the snowshoe route. Under the majestic view of the Fanas local mountain Sassauna (2307 m above sea level), the marked path gently leads down towards Huoba (1811 m above sea level). From there, it goes back to the cable car mountain station. You can stop by the cozy mountain inn Sassauna right at the mountain station. Snowshoe rentals are possible at the valley station of the Fanas cable car.

A visit to the cozy mountain inn Sassauna is always worthwhile. Why not extend the snowshoe route? Start and/or end the route at the valley station Fanas (see circular route valley station Fanas - mountain station - Höreli - Huoba). For summit climbers, we recommend a snowshoe hike up to the Sassauna (2307 m), the Fanas local mountain.
