Mountainbike Tour "Sesemann" Pizol

The route runs along sections that are used in different ways, please be considerate of other trail users.

Trail section to Valeis: hiking trail with some narrow, small stream crossings

Valeis section towards Vilters: gravel road and hiking trails without any difficulties worth mentioning

Recommended equipment:

Bike:

- Full-suspension (e-)mountain bike (fully)

- Good riders can also tackle the route on a bike with front suspension only

General safety equipment:
- helmet, gloves, cycling shoes

- First aid kit

- Knee and elbow pads for the descent if necessary

- Service material for punctures, bike pump, bike tools, tube repair kit etc.

Personal equipment:
- bike backpack
- drinking water, provisions
- cell phone

Usual equipment for a bike experience.

Take the train to Sargans, continue by bus to the Wangs bus stop, Pizolbahn directly at the Wangs valley station. From there, take the gondola lift to the Maienberg middle station.

Take the Sargans highway exit, then follow the signs to the Pizolbahnen valley station in Wangs.

Public parking spaces available at the Bad Ragaz valley station (subject to charge).
