Beschreibung
Deep beneath the municipality of Tujetsch, a gigantic structure has been under construction for two decades: The Gotthard Base Tunnel. At 57 kilometers long, the heart of the NRLA (New Rail Link through the Alps) is one of the longest tunnels in the world.
On two tours, the NRLA Experience Trail provides insights into the construction and operation of this once-in-a-century structure. Twelve informative stations encourage visitors to play and try things out.
The adventure trail is suitable for families, groups, school trips and all young-at-heart explorers. Access is possible at all stations. The brochure can be picked up at the Sedrun tourist office, Via Alpsu 64a, 7188 Sedrun.
In winter, the trail is open from 1-4 and A-D.
Geheimtipp
The terrace at Lag da Claus is open in summer. The Camping Viva restaurant is open in summer and winter. Please note opening times.
Add approx. 1.5 hours to the walking time for the whole loop.
Sicherheitshinweis
Part of the trail is suitable for baby carriages or barrier-free in summer.
Part of the trail is also accessible in winter.
