Prachtvolle Promenade

Music sounds better on brass instruments. This is the message of the London ensemble Septura, which will shine with three trumpets, three trombones and a tuba in the concert hall of the Arena Klosters with virtuoso arrangements of classical hits on the Swiss National Day. Rossini's overture to the opera "William Tell" is just as much a part of it as Handel's radiant "Fireworks Music" and Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" with the catchy promenade that connects the individual images such as the "Ballet of the Chicks in Their Eggshells" or "The Great Gate of Kiev". With the award-winning Swiss accordionist Viviane Chassot, known for her stylistic diversity, a completely different color comes to the concert. The tangos of Astor Piazzolla only get the right atmosphere through their multi-layered accordion playing. Breton and Irish folk songs can also be heard – with her flexibility and desire to make music, Viviane Chassot is just the right person for this.
