Season Opening Party Surses

After a longer break, the season opening returns to the Val Surses – and in a very special form: for the first time, all youth teams from the Surses region are jointly organizing the event and invite you to the Sala Grava in Savognin on Saturday, December 19, 2026 .

Look forward to a live concert with Volxrock (concert starts at 8:30 p.m., doors open at 7:45 p.m.) as well as an afterparty with DJ Vojager until the night. Catering with bar service is also provided.

The season opening brings together locals, second-home owners, and guests and forms the atmospheric start to the winter season. With the resumption of this beautiful tradition, the youth teams want to create an event that connects people and establishes itself firmly as a part of winter in the Val Surses.

Volxrock consists of Christian Gartner (vocals, guitar, trumpet), Marco Egger (guitar, vocals), Werner Gartner (electric bass, accordion, vocals), and Michael Weger (drums, guitar). The style and trademark of the band are unmistakable, and it is no coincidence that Volxrock has become a strong term for thrilling live shows in Germany and Austria. The band has been part of the new wild folk music scene since the beginning, which also includes groups like LaBrassBanda, voXXclub, hmbc, or solo artists like Andreas Gabalier. Volxrock manages to excite both young and old with the anarchistic mix of heavy metal, classic rock, rap, and folk music tradition.
