Sur Crap-Segnesboden - Geführte Wanderung

After the ascent through karst area, we get an overview of the Segnes soils and a first-hand insight into the remains of the Glarus main thrust. Mountain formation, rocks and geomorphology are the focal points of the first part of the hike. The flora over the alkaline-rich subsoil and the dwarf shrub vegetation are typical of this area. On the descent via Grauberg to the Unterer Segnesboden, we concentrate on the path and gain great insights into the high alpine alluvial plain. On the Segnesboden we experience the beauty of the water and enjoy the uniqueness of this alpine floodplain and moorland of national importance. In the visitors' pavilion at the Segneshütte, the geological events around Flims are vividly presented.
