Church concert with works by Antonio Vivaldi, Jean-Philippe Rameau, Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel. Normally, visitors to our church concerts cannot watch the organist playing in the gallery. Johannes Berger, artistic director of the baroque orchestra Concerto München and first organist of the Heldenorgel Kufstein, will bring his own chest organ from the Rosenheim organ manufacturer Gartner for the concert with the Orchestra La Scintilla. For example, Berger can act in the middle of the orchestra in some works in the choir, such as the Concerto for Violin and Strings in G minor by Antonio Vivaldi. Ada Pesch, the concertmaster of the Zurich Orchestra La Scintilla, will play the virtuoso solo part here and compete musically with the organ. In the works for organ solo, such as the mighty Toccata and Fugue in D major BWV 540 or the chorale prelude to "Allein Gott in der Höhe sei Ehr" BWV 664, Berger plays the Goll organ. Jean-Philippe Rameau's orchestral suite from the ballet opera "Pygmalion" tells the story of a sculptor who falls in love with a statue he has created. Cupid brings her to life, his graces teach her dances. In the "Pygmalion" suite, the Orchestra La Scintilla lets you feel this joie de vivre.
