12th National Hiking Day: Hike 1 - Family Hike Pizol

The experience begins at the valley station in Bad Ragaz, where small goat pens point to the Heidi Trail. The 8-seater gondola lift from Bad Ragaz then takes you to the starting point at the Pardiel mountain station. A special experience for children is the ascent in one of the Heidi gondolas. Once at Pardiel, a playground awaits the little guests and a magnificent view for the grown-ups. If you are already feeling a little hungry or thirsty, you can enjoy a refreshment on the terrace of the Restaurant Edelweiss. The hike then starts and leads to Alp Schwarzbüel. On the way, you will pass Öhis Geissenweid, the children's Kneipp facility with barefoot path and the Alpruf. After a good half hour on Schwarzbüel, you can already hear the rustic sounds of the alphorn. The popular barley soup or Heidi's sausages are now the perfect refreshment for the return hike to Pardiel.
