Beschreibung

The 8 km long loop trail in Zernez is excellently suited as a training route for both trained skiers and racers. The trail starts at the sports and cross-country skiing center in the middle of Zernez and offers ambitious cross-country skiers a demanding and varied loop trail on a length of 8 km with about 250 meters of elevation gain. After cross-country skiing, a visit to the family pool or a stop at the National Park Center is recommended.

  • By the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau, Scuol or Upper Engadin) hourly to Zernez

  • By PostBus to the Parc Naziunal stop in Zernez (several times daily) or Engadin Bus to the Zernez scoula stop (lines 7 and 17)

Anreise Information


  • From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) into the Lower Engadin on H27

  • From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27

  • From the south: via Reschen Pass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofen Pass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27

  • Zernez lies directly on the Engadin road H27 (15 minutes from the Vereina south portal)
