1st big model railway meeting Bergün 2025

For the first time, the picturesque railway village of Bergün will be transformed into a paradise for lovers of small trains on the weekend of 24/25 May 2025. In the heart of Graubünden, the event offers numerous exhibitions and demonstrations at three locations, where model railway enthusiasts can present their works and exchange ideas about the latest trends and techniques.
In the Albula Railway Museum, the 0m gauge and numerous exotic cars will be on display. The trains run in Bernhard Tarnutzer's model railway workshop and the builder of the layout will be available to the fans for technical questions. In the attic of the Albula Railway Museum, numerous self-builts, exotics and rarities will also be on display.
In the Bergün local museum, highlights of the H0m gauge await visitors. On the club grounds of the Albula Railway Club Bergün, trains from all eras of the Rhaetian Railway run on the route between Bergün and Preda. For the winter season, the Preda landscape has been comprehensively redesigned and presents itself in a new look.
Märklin and LGB will be represented in the Bergün multi-purpose hall. The LGB Friends of the Lower Rhine will travel to this event with their latest child, the Amarillo Mountain Rail Road segment layout. This complex has a size of 24 by 5 meters and shows motifs typical of the 50s of the last century. In addition to Mt. Rusmore or the Red Rocks, the striking Fire-Escape of New York's Old Town can also be seen. The tracks allow the use of long trains with huge steam locomotives, such as the Bigboy. The uniform track gauge of LGB also allows combinations that would not be possible in real life...
