Easy winter circular hike with a beautiful view of the mountains around Ilanz. It leads across meadows and along the Anterior Rhine through secluded forests and nature reserves. The winter hiking trail is groomed and open.

Beschreibung
The hike leads from Fontanivas over the suspension bridge into a beautiful, wide meadow landscape. Passing Sevgein and around the castle hill of Castrisch, the path descends to the Isla Sut nature reserve at the entrance to the Ruinaulta, the Rhine Gorge. From the peninsula on the young Rhine it is not far to Castrisch with its picturesque village centre. A cultural highlight is the Evangelical Church of S. Gier with its 14th-century church tower, which is a listed building. From here you can take the romantic hiking trail through secluded alluvial forests and nature reserves along the Anterior Rhine. The scenery with the Brigelser mountains and the Piz Mundaun is something to be proud of. On the outskirts of Ilanz, you follow the Glenner again to the starting point.

On Poststrasse to the north towards Grabenstrasse/Route 3; Take Route 19 to Casanova in Schluein, take the exit on Route 19 towards Obersaxen/Vrin Vals/Versam; Follow Casanova, take Via S. Clau Sut to Via dalla Staziun in Ilanz.
