35.10 Walserweg Graubünden Stage 10: Juf - Alp Flix

Salt and flour were carried by the Walser from Juf over the Stallerberg. Stone-rich Flüesee lakes, majestic Piz Platta, alpine descent into Val Faller. Tga and Alp Flix: former Walser settlements – today oases for fauna and flora in the middle of Parc Ela.

Note: On both sides of the Fallerfurgga there can still be snowfields in the summer months.

Note: On the descent from the Fallerfurgga there is rocky terrain: surefootedness and good orientation skills in bad weather required.

The Walserweg Graubünden with 23 stages was initiated by the geographer and author Irene Schuler and realized together with the cultural and language organization of the Walser Association Graubünden (Switzerland).
