The Durannapass is one of the great mountain bike classics of Graubünden – rightly so in combination with the Strelapass. The route offers a wonderful mix of landscape, trails, and culture.

Beschreibung
From Davos, it goes up on forest roads to Schatzalp, further to Strelaalp, and then on an increasingly steep alpine road up to the Strelapass. Here begins the first descent. It leads down via a challenging singletrail into Sapün. From there, the descent continues on a gravel road down to Langwies, where the next long but pleasant ascent to the settlement of Strassberg and further to the idyllic Grüensee right by the Durannapass begins. A fun path now leads across the plateau and then down on an alpine road to Untersäss. Here there is the option to relocate the descent onto a bumpy singletrail. Slightly below Untersäss, turn right and reach the trail to the valley station of the Schiferbahn. A gravel road now leads to Serneuser Schwendi and from there largely along the railway line to Laret. One last steep section has to be mastered before finally reaching the Wolfgangpass on the outskirts of Davos. Note: The route is fully signposted as Route 631 (Durannapass-Strelapass).
Geheimtipp
The long ascent from Davos to the Strelapass can be completed with the Parsenn cable car. From Weissfluhjoch, a rapid descent leads through the Haupter Täli via the Felsenweg to the Strelapass.
Pack your swimsuit and take a refreshing dip in the Grüensee by the Durannapass.
Sicherheitshinweis
In the Davos Klosters destination, there are many managed Alpine pastures with livestock. Therefore, expect to encounter animals everywhere. We ask for appropriate consideration and also to ride the terrain at a suitable speed.
