Beschreibung

From Obersee, we ride the bike towards Maran-Prätschli and further via the middle station to the Carmennahütte. Now follows a short ascent up to the Hörnli, where the restaurant offers a rest even during the summer season. A beautiful singletrail leads us, with a short carrying passage, to the wonderfully blue Urdensee. Now the road gets better again and leads us shortly before Tschiertschen onto the path that leads to Arosa. Back to Arosa, the scenic route takes us over the Ochsenalp. After the Ochsenalp, a detour to the Prätschalp is worthwhile, where the last singletrail with many root sections awaits. Fun is guaranteed!

Geheimtipp

A stop at the Ochsenalp is definitely a MUST.

Sicherheitshinweis

Has some crisp singletrails. Experienced bikers will love the trail.

Ausrüstung

Anfahrt

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

Like a tram, the Arosa train leisurely chugs through Chur, past the city walls, Maltese Tower, and Obertor, the landmark of the capital of Graubünden. But soon, the city stroll on rails is over. At the city limit, the Arosa train turns into a mountain railway and winds its way through the wild Schanfigg Valley up to the well-known resort of Arosa. On the only 26 km long route, the train climbs over a thousand meters.

Anreise Information

From Chur, it goes about 40 minutes uphill on a winding road. The Schanfiggerstrasse snakes through the valley and overcomes 1320m elevation difference on 30 km and around 360 curves.

Parken

Right next to the starting point is the Ochsenbühl parking garage where you can park.
