Beschreibung

In Tannenboden village, take the road to Alp Tannenboden. From Alp Tannenboden you walk gently downhill parallel to the cross-country ski trail to the small hollow towards the children's ski lift. To your left you see the high plateau Madils, which is shared by cross-country skiers, winter hikers and mushers with their huskies. At the fork, take the middle path straight ahead for the longer version, and after 500 m turn left to extend the path along the high plateau. Or take the left path for the direct route to Prodalp. After a short walk, you cross a bridge on this path and walk to the first forest area. At the exit of this forest you cross the toboggan run and shortly afterwards the ski slope and ascend through the magnificent landscape to Prodalp.

Geheimtipp

The hike can also be shortened. (left path in Madils, - 20min.)

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

Arrival by train to Unterterzen and up with the Unterterzen - Tannenboden cable car

Daily from Zurich with the S25 to Ziegelbrücke with transfer to the S4 to Unterterzen

Daily from St. Gallen with the S4 directly to Unterterzen

Daily from Zurich and Chur with the RE to Walenstadt with transfer to bus 444 to Unterterzen

From Unterterzen the 8-person gondola takes you directly to Flumserberg to the Tannenboden valley station LUFAG.

Arrival by train to Flums and Postbus to Flumserberg Tannenboden

Daily to Flums or Sargans, then by bus 441 towards Flumserberg to the stop Tannenboden, cable car.

Anreise Information

Motorway exit Flums/Flumserberg, follow the main road towards Flumserberg Tannenboden.

Parken

Public parking spaces are available at Tannenboden.

The parking spaces are chargeable from 07:00 to 17:00. From 17:00 to 02:00 you may leave the car free of charge.

From 02:00 to 07:00 there is a night parking ban. There are plenty of night parking spaces in the Tannenboden car park or in Tannenheim.

The night parking lot can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.
