Beschreibung

You can start the Kesch-Trek either from Dürrboden or from the Flüela Pass. We recommend using public transport to get to the respective start. Timetables can be found on the internet or obtained at the Davos Klosters destination. Your first stage goal is the Grialetsch Hut SAC, where you will spend the night.

Geheimtipp

Fancy a small detour with an incredible view? The Flüela Schwarzhorn (3147 m above sea level) is a three-thousander with an easy ascent.

Sicherheitshinweis

The Kesch-Trek is an alpine mountain hike. The possible dangers in high mountains must be properly assessed. The hiking stages require good fitness.

Each year in October and from late April to the end of May, the Swiss Army conducts shooting exercises around S-chanf. Therefore, the area between S-chanf and the mountain inn Dürrboden is closed during this time in the Scaletta and Grialetsch area (danger to life).

Ausrüstung

Sturdy mountain boots, weatherproof and warm clothing, rain protection, provisions for the hiking stages (packed lunches can also be obtained at the huts), enough water, sun and head protection, a pocket first aid kit, maps for orientation and possibly hiking poles.
