Many hiking trails lead to Prättigau: One of them starts at the mountain station of the Älplibahn at 1800 m above sea level.M and leads via Vilan or around the Vilan to Seewis Dorf. The first or last stage of the Prättigauer Höhenweg can also be completed via the Älplibahn.
Beschreibung
The Älplibahn is not a profit-oriented railway. Rather, it is a joint effort - around 550 members of the cooperative and 800 members of the association keep it alive with financial or active support. The small railway is based on great values: community, meaning and joie de vivre.
The Älplibahn Malans takes you to the beautiful hiking area or to the panoramic terrace of the Beizli high above the Bündner Herrschaft.

By train to Landquart or Malans, from there by bus to the bus stop "Malans Älplibahn".

Freeway exit Landquart, then on the main road to Malans. In the village the way to the Älplibahn is signposted.
