Beschreibung

The hike starts at the bus stop Prätschli. A levelled nature trail leads first through a dreamy spruce forest to the middle station. From the peace and quiet in the forest you now come to the middle of the hiking & skiing area, which presents itself in summer as green mats with grazing cows. The hike can be continued via the Tschuggenhütte down to the Aroser Bergkirchli and into the village. If you like it cozy, you can optionally shorten the hike with the use of the Weisshorn gondola from the middle station back to the village.

A stop in the Arosa Bear Sanctuary - The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is an experience for young and old. The bear residents Sam, Jamila, Amelia & Meimo are at the center of it. The Arosa Bear Sanctuary gives bears that have been rescued from poor husbandry a species-appropriate home.

Ausrüstung

The hiking trail is only passable with the JST.

The JST Mountain Drive - ideal companion for independent excursions. An all-terrain electric wheelchair specially designed for natural mountain trails, coarse gravel, steps and cobblestones. Thanks to two powerful electric motors and the robust construction of the wheelchair, hilly hiking trails, steep inclines and even long natural surface stretches can be driven without any problems.

Arosa Bergbahnen AG has two models that can be rented as required.

Pick-up & return at the middle station.

Good shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

From Chur, the Rhaetian Railway runs every hour to Arosa. Travelling on the Rhaetian Railway is to be made as easy as possible for guests with disabilities. Boarding and disembarking aids can be reserved up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. For more information, please visit www.rhb.ch.

Even when you arrive in Arosa, you stay mobile. The Arosa Bus is happy to transport its passengers from A to B and tries to meet their needs.And even if you want to take a taxi, there are options: The Alpin Taxi (+41 81 377 35 35) has larger taxis where the wheelchair can be loaded into the trunk.

Anreise Information

From Chur follow the signs via Schanfiggerstrasse to Arosa.

Parken

At the entrance to the village there is a parking information board. The parking garage Ochsenbühl and the public parking lot at the Obersee are recommended.
