Beschreibung

This easy winter hike starts at Untersee in Arosa and winds through the forest on a well-prepared path to Litzirüti. Along the way, you walk along the Plessur and catch a view of the Arosa line of the Rhaetian Railway. The wide hiking trail is very suitable for families and is also a highlight as a cozy sled ride. The hike ends directly at the station in Litzirüti, from where you can travel back hourly by train to Arosa or Chur.

Bring the sled and enjoy the winding route with the wind in your face.

Sicherheitshinweis

The winter hiking trail crosses the Rhaetian Railway line, caution is advised. 


The path is used by sledders and pedestrians, please be considerate. 

Ausrüstung

Sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, and something to drink are recommended.

Anfahrt

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

From Chur, the Rhaetian Railway runs hourly to Arosa and back. If needed, the local bus runs a few meters from the station towards Untersee. At the destination Litzirüti, you are directly at the station and can take the Rhaetian Railway back to Arosa or Chur. 

Anreise Information

From Chur via the winding Arosa road to the end of the valley at Arosa. Turn left at the village entrance near the gas station and drive to Untersee.


Road conditions

Parken

At the village entrance you will find a parking information board. It is recommended to park in the Ochsenbühl parking garage. This is located about 800 meters from the starting point of the hike. If needed, you can also take the bus from here to Untersee.
