Ausstellung Antoinette Simmen

As a former restorer of original graphics, Antoinette Simmen is interested in traditional craftsmanship and the combination of material, technique and form. Today, she works in the scagliola technique (stucco marble) and with clay. She finds her inspiration in nature as well as in urban spaces.
Houses as sculptures stand for home, protection and belonging.
Clouds in the paintings show the fleeting and the mobile.
A dialogue between location and change – between what remains and what passes by.
