Ausstellung: «Ritmus d’in vitg – Rhythmen eines Dorfes» in Lumbrein

Verner Solér's several thousand photographs document the life of the village of Vrin and its inhabitants. They make visible rhythms that dictate their own pace and shape our lives. Mountain slopes that were here before our time and will outlive us, herds of cattle and the ringing of their bells that accompanied our ancestors. Stories of everyday life and of people who see the sun rise behind the same peaks every morning.

The theme of the year, "Zenns ed il ritmus dalla val / Bell and the rhythm of the valley", will focus on the bells that can be heard on the pastures and alps, on a photo documentation of a family from Vrin for over 30 years and on the rhythm of the annual visit to the home of an emigrant from Val Lumnezia.
