Bernina Trek classic: Stage 6 Chamanna da Boval-Rifugio Saoseo

Descent on marked path to Morteratsch station. Along the waterfall, the Cascada da Bernina, up to Bernina Suot and following the railway tracks to Lagalb. Those who want can board the RhB at Morteratsch and ride up to Lagalb. Hike through the Val Minor to the eponymous lake (Lej Minor), before the saddle (Fuorcla Minor) follow the new markings toward Forcola di Livigno up to the 2300 m contour line, then a short steep off-trail section descending directly to the (visible) pass road to Livigno, continue along the pass road and the hiking trail to La Rösa. From La Rösa via Salva to Lungacqua to Rifugio Saoseo near the lake of the same name. The short ascent to this wonderfully situated lake is highly recommended!

Those who do not want to descend off-trail to the pass road to Livigno can continue hiking around Piz Lagalb to Ospizio Bernina and from there hike to La Rösa.
