Berschnerfall

The Berschnerfall above Berschis near Walenstadt is 46m high and according to waterfall type category a so-called "isolated case". It is well hidden, but no less impressive. From the village of Berschis you walk in about 25 minutes into a small ravine, where after a curve around a small rock the Berschnerfall suddenly piles up in front of the visitor.
An information stele in the village of Berschis informs about the Berschnerfall and shows the way on site. The information stele is located in the village at the intersection Bachsandweg - Cavortschstrasse on the way to St. Georgenhügel.
Tip: Visit the waterfall in spring at the time of snow melt or after intense rainfall.
