Savognin was a pioneer in the field of artificial snowmaking over 40 years ago. In 1978, the first large snow system in Europe was put into operation.

You can find out how the snow-making system is equipped today, how the water gets to the mountain and how a snow cannon works on this exciting guided tour in the pumping station of the Savognin mountain railways.
