Beschreibung
The hike begins in Bivio and leads through the Val Tgavretga up to the Septimer Pass and over Maroz Dora to Casaccia. At Plang Camfer and at the pass height, you can still discover remains of the old Roman road today. Later, the pass was used by the farmers of Bergell to settle Bivio. Initially, people only spent the summer on the alpine pastures around Bivio, but later some settled in Bivio year-round. This is why the influence of the Italian language in Bivio exists.
This hike is a section of the Via Sett - cultural and long-distance hiking trail from Chur to Chiavenna (Italy) through three valleys and three language cultures.
From Casaccia by PostBus back to Bivio.
