Beschreibung

First, you climb the historically significant Septimer Pass, then continue up the left valley flank to the Lunghin Pass. At the top, you encounter the only triple watershed in Europe. From here, water flows into three different seas. The Eva dal Lunghin, later Eva da Sett, flows into the Julia and then into the Rhine, which ends in the North Sea. The source of the Inn, which flows into the Danube and then into the Black Sea, also originates at Lunghin. The Maira River flows through the Bergell, joins the Po, and eventually reaches the Adriatic Sea. The descent to Maloja is rewarded with a beautiful view over the Engadin.

Geheimtipp

Those who want to enjoy even more views can take a detour to Piz Lunghin at 2779 m. The view over the Engadin is unique.

Ausrüstung

Sturdy footwear and appropriate outdoor clothing are recommended.

Option:

From Lunghin Pass there are less steep descents such as to Plaun da Lej or via the Heididorf Grevasalvas to Sils i.E.. A third option is via Fuorcla Grevasalvas to Julier Pass. From there, a summer PostAuto runs back to Bivio (note, only few PostAuto services).
