Beschreibung

The Bocchetta del Notar connects, at high altitude, the valley of Cama, on the Swiss side, with the Val Bodengo, which leads to Gordona, on the Italian side. The itinerary is known as "Via dei Crotti" and offers opportunities for delicious stops in the many typical mountain resorts. Since the 800 the route has been affected more or less continuously by the crossings of smugglers, the shoulder pads, during their border trades between Italy and Switzerland.
