The ascent is on tar. From Alp Schwaldis, the route leads for the time being partly pathless over the Alpwiese. The following hiking trail is becoming increasingly easier. The deep view of Lake Walen is breathtaking.

The Bockpfad from Alp Schwaldis is very exposed. Technically quite simple - but a fall can have fatal consequences. If in doubt, push.
