Beschreibung

The Outdoor Fitness Trails in the Heidiland vacation region comprise over 30 uniformly signposted running trails from a total of 10 stations, forming one of the largest outdoor fitness parks in the Alps. The Cafrida Trail is one of five running trails around the Flumserberg station.

The starting point for this 5.3 km trail is the info point at the Flumserberg station opposite the Heidiland information point (1350 m above sea level). From there, the Cafrida Trail first leads along a tarred road to outside the village. The trail continues almost flat on the so-called 13-hundred-meter footpath to Cafrida (1333). From Cafrida you have a magnificent view of the Seeztal valley and the Chur Rhine valley. After the warm-up, the challenge follows: from Cafrida, the trail leads over a cow pasture, which is accessed by a steep alpine path up to 1418 m above sea level. Once you have mastered this ascent, it is almost all downhill. Back on a tarred road, the circular trail leads through a small forest over the Madils plateau to the Tannenbodenalp (1399), which offers a magnificent view of the Churfirsten. From the Tannenbodenalp, the route then leads back to the starting point in Tannenboden Dorf.

Geheimtipp

Most of the Outdoor Fitness Trails run along official hiking trails. The hiking trail signage therefore also helps with orientation along the way.
