Caischavedra Trail

After the last houses of Segnas, the route takes us into Val Segnas. Caution is advised as skiers are also on the lower part. But once we reach the forest it becomes quiet and the path rises gently in a back and forth. If fresh snow has fallen, it even becomes quite romantic under the low hanging branches. Along the way, gaps open up repeatedly, making it possible to enjoy beautiful views of the valley and mountains. The highlight of the route is Caischavedra, where there is lively ski activity and where we enjoy a well-deserved coffee with cake in the panoramic restaurant. The cable car then takes us back to the valley.

Not a winter hiking trail! Only hike with snowshoes! All pedestrians are asked to enjoy the prepared hiking trails.

Those who prefer a more relaxed pace do the route in the opposite direction and first enjoy a mountain ride with the cable car.

The route can be extended along the ski slope to Gendusas. Food and drinks are provided at the Bar Nevada.

We leave the village heading north and follow the signs into Val Segnas. The trail later leads on a hiking path through the forest to Caischavedra.
