Beautiful pastures and larch forests with rhododendrons and blueberries: this in a nutshell is the place where Buffalora is located, the only alpine hut in the Calanca to be managed during the summer. The Calanca Alpine Path passes through here, a challenging but fascinating route that connects San Bernardino to Santa Maria in Calanca. Located near the ridge that divides the Calanca from the Mesolcina, the hut offers a wonderful view to all visitors.
