Beschreibung

From Brigels, you reach the idyllic Lake Brigels in just a few minutes, which you cycle around on the right. Continue in the direction of Waltensburg through the Blumernwiesen meadows of Migliè to the Curtginet valley station. Cycle along the main road to the upper village of Waltensburg, where you turn off towards Brigels at the crossroads. You will soon reach the Uaul Pign fireplace and shortly afterwards the Ruina Grotta (Kropfenstein). With children - and everyone else - it's worth stopping here. You now cycle slightly uphill on the rough dirt road via Munsaus to the Crest la Crusch viewpoint. You can see the valley plain from Ilanz to Disentis. The Escher stone is also located here. It commemorates the builders of the Waltensburg-Brigels link road, which was completed in 1870: Escher von der Lindt, de Latour and Simon Bavier, the first Graubünden Federal Councillor. From here it is not far to the starting point.
