Marco Walli, a carver and wood sculptor, acquired Strahlegg Castle near Fideris, which dates back to the 13th century (first mentioned in a document in 1403 as the property of the Streiff), exactly 50 years ago.
Beschreibung
The repair of the castle took eight years, which now shines in new splendor. In the old walls you feel transported back to the Middle Ages. The tower is now equipped with a roof, stairs and pedestals and serves as an exhibition space for the owner's carved works of art.
For interested persons and groups, castle and studio tours are offered.
