Cavadura (intermediate station) via mountain lake «Älpli» to the Schwänzelegg mountain lodge
A moderate hike through lonely pastures and forest areas to the mountain lake «Älpli» (approx. 1.5 hours) and onward to the mountain lodge. The downhill return is made easier by the gondola to Cavadura.

The tour starts at the intermediate station of the Grüsch-Danusa mountain railways. It steadily goes uphill to the mountain lake «Älpli», which is used for snowmaking in winter. Here, a break with a dip in the cool lake is recommended. Afterwards, it continues over pastures with horses and cows through short forest sections to the Schwänzelegg mountain lodge. A magnificent 360° panorama including food and drink rounds off this hike. The return journey can be comfortably taken by gondola.
