Beschreibung
From Celerina past the Marguns valley station, an alpine path leads in large hairpin bends over Alp Laret up to Marguns. The view opens more and more down towards S-chanf. From Marguns, it is still about 200 meters in altitude to Corviglia, the highest point of this route. Afterwards, it goes down quite steeply on a gravel road to Alp Giop. A stop now and then is worthwhile to enjoy the view that stretches over the Upper Engadin lake district and up to the mighty Piz da la Margna. At Alp Giop, it goes a short piece up to the Signal cable car before the natural road reaches the first houses of Suvretta. Passing villas of famous personalities, the road leads down to the main road. Continuing over Champfèr and down to the Inn river, you reach the moor lake Lej Marsch, which invites you to bathe. Past the St. Moritz campsite, a natural road leads through raised moorland landscapes to Lej da Staz, another moor lake with barbecue facilities and bathing possibilities. The last section leisurely leads down through the Stazerwald forest to Celerina.
