Centrale idroelettrica Cavaglia

After Palü, Cavaglia is the second power plant located along the jump between Lake Bianco and Robbia. Between 2015 and 2017, the Cavaglia plant was optimized (increased pressure) and the impeller of the Pelton turbine was replaced, thus increasing production. The Cavaglia power plant can be used in tandem with the Palü power plant or even separately. The plant, with an installed capacity of 7 MW and an annual production of around 21 GWh, still runs on the first Pelton turbine installed in 1927.
