The house is located in the village centre and has shaped the villagescape of Ardez from the very beginning with its typical Engadin graffiti and one of the oldest frescoes. Popular walks and hikes (summer and winter) start right behind the house and lead to the equally picturesque Guarda, Val Tuoi, Val Tasna, Ftan and Tarasp. Via Scuol in the direction of S-charl you reach the national park and other starting points for walks, hikes, golfing and bike tours with refreshment stops, e.g. in the picturesque mountain village of S-charl. Other experiences and sights include the Bogn Engiadina thermal baths in Scuol, Tarasp Castle, the Büvetta Tarasp pump room, the Susch Museum and the National Park House in Zernez.
