In old documents from the XV century, a building is mentioned on this site. The church was rebuilt just a few years later, retaining the bell tower and the original walls of the nave. In 1656 the sacristy and choir were added, and in 1866 it was renovated. In the 20th century, it was restored several times. Inside, there is stucco work and colorful oil paintings. The building has a single-nave floor plan and a coffered ceiling, which was erected in 1941. In the nineteenth century, a building is mentioned at this location.
