Piotr Alexewicz, piano

Born in 2000, the Polish pianist first studied at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. He is currently working under Prof. Konstantin Scherbakov at the Zurich University of the Arts. He received the Prof. Zbigniew Drzewiecki Prize at the Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, the world's most important piano competition.

In 2019, the National Frédéric Chopin Institute released its first album with works by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Ravel. In 2024, an album with all 26 of Chopin's preludes was released.

In 2021, he received the first "Young Promoter of Poland" award, presented by Poland's First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda. In 2019 he played "Hommage a Clara Schumann" at the Chopin Festival in Paris. In 2023, he toured Japan with the Berliner Symphoniker with Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5.
