The documentary interweaves social history with Bruno Stefanini's life from immigrant son to officer, heartthrob and billionaire building contractor with a great deal of humor. It tells of the emancipation of women, the moral revolution of the sixties, abolitionists and squatters. For his museum dream, the collector and messie Stefanini collected classical art, but also junk, halberds and tanks, castles and memorabilia from Napoleon's toothbrush to Sissi's underpants. All stored in bunkers, safe from nuclear attack. Director Haemmerli ("Sieben Mulden und eine Leiche") paints a unique biography at a fast pace.
