This circular route is a wonderful short hike with various places to pause and enjoy.

Beschreibung
We describe the route from Obersaxen Affeier. However, it can also be started from many other places along the route, for example from Meierhof, Misanenga, or Chummabüel.
From Affeier, you first hike into the magical winter forest of Pifal. It continues a bit more sun-exposed, down over the meadows to Markal below Meierhof. The route then leads to the large parking lot of the cable cars in Meierhof. Now it goes relaxed again over a small road with plenty of mountain panorama. Shortly under the Chummabial ski lift and onwards to Misanenga. Before the Crestas settlement, the path turns left to Hotel Panorama. There the kneecaps are tested on the short but steep way down. We are already back in Affeier.
Geheimtipp
In Misanenga, take a short detour to the Restaurant Rufalipark.
Sicherheitshinweis
If weather conditions are uncertain, the route should not be started. Weather changes are frequent in the mountains. If a snow front or similar appears during the hike, you should turn back in time.

From Ilanz, take the post bus or ski bus to "Obersaxen, Affeier Dorf." The buses are free in winter.

Few parking spaces in Affeier. More parking is available along the route at: Chummenbühl, Meierhof, Meierhof cable cars, Misanenga old middle station.
